R.C. Sproul (1939–2017) was known for his ability to winsomely and clearly communicate deep, practical truths from God’s Word. He was founder of Ligonier Ministries, first minister of preaching and teaching at Saint Andrew’s Chapel, first president of Reformation Bible College, and executive editor of Tabletalk magazine.

1:16.9	So what is stewardship from a biblical perspective, and why is stewardship so important in
1:22.5	the Christian life? Here's Dr. Sprold to conclude this Saturday series on five things every Christian needs to grow.
1:32.0	Today we're going to look at the fifth item that we've been concerned with in terms of the five things that every Christian needs to know in order to grow into the fullness of Christ.
1:45.0	And you will recall that the first four we've already looked at included how to study the Bible,
1:50.0	how to pray, how to worship, how to serve, and today we begin a look at the fifth one,
1:58.0	which is how to be a good steward. Now, keep in mind that we're learning
2:05.2	these things so that we can take a hold of what we call the means of grace and those means by which
2:14.3	God helps us to grow spiritually. And when we think of those means of grace,
2:20.4	we don't often think of stewardship as one of them. But in fact, when we look at scriptures,
2:26.6	we see that God uses the disciplines given by the Holy Ghost and the instruction of His Word to make his people responsible stewards of the gifts that God has bestowed upon him.
2:42.1	And the whole concept of stewardship biblically begins with creation.
2:48.3	And creation is celebrated not only in the book of Genesis, but throughout the pages
