Summary

Giovanna Gonzalez is a first generation American and a first generation wealth builder. As part of The Great Resignation, she quit her corporate job in investment management to pursue her true passion- teaching financial education to young adults.

She teaches financial literacy and career readiness at universities and to employee resource groups, and on her TikTok account @thefirstgenmentor where she's built a community of over 198,000+. In October 2021, she was selected to be a part of TikTok's inaugural TikTok Latinx Creatives. Most recently, she was selected to be a part of the first ever LinkedIn Creator Accelerator Program.

0:00.0	I would say number one, consistency. I think people say that a lot. But honestly, it's just like going to the gym, right? You're not going to get results from going once a month. You're going to get results from showing up a couple times a week, even if it's for 10 minutes on social media. Consistency is key because that's how people get to know you. And then that's how you become better at creating content, at editing content, at showing up on camera,
