We are in a pandemic of overwhelm! There is so much information out there that people are suffering under the paradox of choice. Listen in to this episode to hear Rob’s tips on how to both prevent and stop overwhelm and procrastination. Bit.ly/cashrm KEY TAKEAWAYS  Accountability: Create accountability in yourself by investing in yourself. Implementation: Create ‘downsides’ for not implementing what you learn. Community: Work and learn with other like-minded people, a peer group to lift you up and make you feel inspired. You need to stop consuming so much information, focus on just one or two key people, start implementing what you hear, take risks and have accountability from others and yourself. You are 11 times more like to implement when you pay because when you pay you pay attention. It's wrong, we're here right now, we're in a pandemic of overwhelm.

0:04.8

No one is saying, oh, there isn't enough information out there. I haven't got enough

0:10.2

choice. I haven't got enough options. People are overwhelmed. It's leading to the paradox

0:16.9

of choice. Too much information, too many things thrown at them, giving them too many options,

0:24.4

leading to procrastination and analysis paralysis. So I think that right now, when all is said and

0:33.8

done, more is said than done. Right now, to know, but not to do is not to know. But no one is saying,

0:43.6

oh, Rob, there's not enough information. I don't know what to do. Everyone is saying that there's

0:49.8

too much information and they're feeling drastically overwhelmed. And I think it's a pandemic

0:56.5

of information. So I believe there are three solutions. Number one is accountability.

1:06.1

Number two is implementation. And number three is community. Accountability,

1:15.0

implementation and community. So if you're consuming a load of free stuff online,

1:19.9

the more free stuff online, you consume the bigger the problem you're creating for yourself.

1:26.5

Because free advice is worth every penny. Imagine if you got given a book and another book

1:32.0

and another book and another book and another book and another book and another book, rubbish,

1:35.1

door stock, pillow, not worth it. Imagine if you paid 20 pounds for every book that you were offered,

1:42.3

you'd read it first, it implemented 20 pounds isn't a lot of money, but it's a lot of money for

1:46.4

a book. So you need to create accountability in yourself by investing in yourself, by having

1:53.9

pain of non-implementation. If there is a pain and a downside and a cost of non-implementation,

2:00.7

you will implement. If there is no pain and cost and loss of implementation, you will not implement.

2:08.3

So if you'd like accountability, implementation and community, I've got just the thing for you.

2:15.0

If you'd like to get rid of free advice is worth every penny and the paradox of too much choice,

2:20.7

I invite you to join my Rob.Team platform where all these solutions exist for you.
