Today this Friday is the end of the third quarter, oh my gosh, we're almost done.

What a year it's been, terribly year for investors I know, but I don't know why I'm feeling

encouraged about the fourth quarter, maybe because I just want to sweep this year into

the dustbin of history and move on, except that I am feeling a little bit like this could

be a really good holiday season, because it will be the first real, I think, generally

upbeat holiday season since the COVID era, maybe not for companies, maybe not for holiday

spending, but for humanity, it's good.
