So Tim is one of our head mentors. He offers very popular office hours within the academy, so it's really an honor to have you here.

And today we're going to do something special.

So Tim, why don't you start by telling our audience a little bit more about you?

Absolutely.

So graduated from the University of Virginia for undergrad with a degree in systems engineering. Fairly quickly

into my engineering career realized I didn't actually want to be an engineer long term. So I ended up

doing a master's program at Duke University in engineering management to get a little bit more

business background, finance background that I didn't have as an engineering undergrad. And then started my

career at a small firm called Enron, which probably most of you were doing case studies on in your

classes. But that got me into the energy industry. And I stayed in there for about four or five years

for the start of my career in Houston, Texas.

And ultimately, I got to the point where I was working with commercial and industrial clients

around structuring their electricity contracts because energy in Texas at the time was
