If you want to be a world-class communicator, it's not how long is your message, but how long are they experiencing the message? And if you can create an experience where they feel like they've only been there for five minutes, now you're learning the art of communication. How do people get reps? You're not standing on stages. You're not in front of people.

If you feel like your call to speak, you have something to say, nothing's going to stop you from saying it.

No one was inviting me to speak in their organizations. So I started in street corners, and I would speak every Sunday to all the homeless there.

No one invited me. I created every single space that I spoke in for

years. And it really transformed a lot of my communication. Most preaching and speaking pushes out

and doesn't pull in. I want to bring the audience in. And before the talk is over, it's just you and me

one-on-one, even if there's 20,000 people in the room. How do you help people on the journey of becoming a better communicator find their voice? You know, one of the things you want to do in any environment, whether it's a podcast or anything, there's this interesting tension. You have to always be. That's the number one mistake people have when they open the Bible. We should probably be recording this.
