Sarah Gibson Tuttle founded Olive in June in 2013 after realizing that she

didn't like the nail salon offerings in her area. Today, that company has been acquired for $240 million.

She has stayed on as the CEO, and we're going to talk all about her entrepreneurial

journey right now. Sarah, thank you so much for joining us. Thanks for having me. So this acquisition

news is relatively new and you haven't talked about it too much. But before we get there, tell us about

the entrepreneurial spark that led to Olive and June. Well, I've always been in love with nails.

I've always been a manny obsessie.

That's what my team calls me.

And I, when I was a little kid, wasn't allowed to paint my nails.

My dad didn't let me paint my nails.

So I had a box of nail polish underneath my bed.

And I would sneak manicures whenever he was away on a business trip.

So Olive and June really started

a long time ago with me loving my nails and loving having my nails done. And then as I grew up,

as I started in finance, I worked as a equity sales trader for 10 years, I would get my weekly manicures.

And that's what made me feel put together and like an adult and I could

take on the world if I just had my nails done. And so that led to ultimately saying, wait, I want to do
