In about four years, grew the channel to 13.8 million followers. Done over 4 billion views now, like go to a multi-million dollar business out of it. And how old are you nowadays? 22. Just 22. Holy. What's the most amount of money you guys ever brought it in in the business? 600K in revenue, 500,000 profit. Not one video in the last year that I've posted on Instagram has gotten under a million views. We checked. That's true. That is James Dumlin, who's been landing interviews with top business leaders and billionaires. And what was the most amount of money you made in a single year? Is the most insane thing on earth? That's kind of what I did. We had to start this channel with my two incredible co-founders, my brother, Jack DeWin, my other childhood friend Joshua Smith. What is it that you figured out on how to make content work? Number one, the hook. Excuse me, sir. Have you ever owned a business before? This is the most important part of any piece of content. If you have low views, it means you're if you don't have a lot of likes, it means you want to do. Dude, I love I love that. I found a formula that would work, and I would 10x and double down it.

Because you're only as good as your next video. If you want to be like the most successful person in the world, become the best question asker in the world. The world is overly cruel to shy men, and it rewards the courageous. If you're in an environment or a city where there's not like-minded

people that are doing what you want to do, you need to get the f*** out of your hometown. Do you remember the first one where you were like, holy. We ended up interviewing the CEO of Nike. That was ultimately the president of the company. You were the president of Nike. Yeah. Literally off that, going up there went to a coffee shop. And he said people will take you places that money can't. What are some of the wildest things you did to get interviews?

It's great to be here today, man. Absolutely, man. Glad we made this happen in L.A. Likewise, brother. So let's get right into your story, man. A lot of people seen you on social media. You're probably the most familiar face in the business space. And you're still a young kid in your 20s, right? You just started this whole thing a couple years ago. So before you became, you know, the school of Harnock's guy, the excuse me, sir guy, take us way back, bro. Where did James grow up as a kid? And where did this journey all begin for you? Yeah. So I think one of the most pivotal factors in my life early on was that I lived in South Korea from 6 to 10. So I lived overseas. and my dad ran the largest overseas military base in the entire world in Camp Humphreys in a city called Piontec in South Korea. So from an early age, I got to experience watching my dad speak and lead, speak in front of and lead tens of thousands of troops overseas. I got to watch them interact with heads of states of foreign countries over in Asia

and, you know, the top people in the military and the government in the United States.

And having that experience from an early age, you know, seeing that it was possible.

You know, there's a saying that I love that you can only grow to what you're exposed to.

And I think that was very true for me is that from an early age, I traveled the world with my family because we were, you know, living in South Korea. But by the time I was 20 years old, I'd been to over 20 countries. And I think that there's, if there's any two things that will teach you about yourself in the world, it's number one, traveling and number two, fighting. If that's something that you want to do.

Because if you fight, you know, you'll learn a lot about yourself. You'll learn that humility.

You'll learn how to deal with pressure and whatnot. But yeah, I lived overseas from six to ten,

moved back to the DC area, was there from about 10 to 18. And, you know, in that period of time,

I had the mindset from traveling so much that i always wanted to

think bigger and i think the problem with living in the dc area is that everybody there is so used to

their family kind of following that typical government route right like when you think of dc you

think of federal agencies contracting defense

politics you don't think of starting your own thing building your own company

creating some sort of like empire for that matter right and I thought way bigger than

that I was like hey my destiny was not meant to just go get a hundred thousand
