Good evening. Once again, I'm Stephanie Rule. It has been just over two days since the polls closed,

0:13.1

and Donald Trump staged a remarkable comeback to win the presidential election. Think about

0:18.6

where we are. We currently have the best economy in the world,

0:22.7

a boom in stock market, historically strong NATO alliance, and yet America voted to reject

0:28.6

the status quo. Well, our goal is to truly understand why. So tonight, we're going to take a

0:33.6

closer look at the voters who made that possible. Four years ago, 65% of Latinos voted for

0:39.8

Joe Biden. This year, just 53% voted for Kamala Harris, according to NBC News exit polls. On the other hand,

1:07.5

Sure enough, today, Donald Trump said one of his first priorities on that agenda will be mass

1:19.7

deportations, that his administration would have no choice.

1:23.5

On the very same day, President Biden told supporters that they have to accept the choice that the country made.

1:29.2

So let's get smarter and dig deeper into who these voters are and exactly what they want.

1:34.5

With that, let's bring in our leadoff panel tonight.

1:36.7

Dave Wasserman's here, senior editor and elections analyst at the Cook Political Report.

1:40.9

He has been working with our NBC News decision desk this week.

1:44.7

Maria Theresa Kumar joins us, president and CEO of Voda Latino. She's also an MSNBC contributor.

1:50.5

And conservative lawyer, George Conway, he is also a contributing writer at the Atlantic.

1:55.4

George, let's start with you. How did we get to this Trump win?
