Hey folks, I'm really excited for the show today because it features another great conversation

in our How They Got Their Series.

Today our conversation is with Bob Dalton.

Bob is the founder and CEO of Sackcloth and Ashes, a mission-driven company that gives

a blanket to a homeless shelter for each blanket purchased.

In 2018, he launched Blanket the United States, a campaign with a goal of donating 1 million

blankets to homeless shelters by 2024.

He now travels the United States campaigning to bring awareness and resources to organizations

that are creating solutions for homelessness.

I recently had the chance to connect with Bob and I know you're going to love his story.

He's doing work that matters.

So Bob, I love to start with what you're doing now and then I love to dig deep and figure

out the why and the how and all the challenges that you have faced and overcome and continue

to face.

So tell us about Sackcloth and Ashes.

Yes, what we're doing now is for every blanket that somebody purchases from our company,

we donate a blanket to your local homeless shelter.

And it's a one-for-one model, but we wanted to localize it.

So no matter where you buy a blanket in the United States, we send a blanket to a homeless

shelter in your city.

And so we wanted to empower people to make a difference locally.

So we're targeting our goal of donating a million blankets by 2024.
