I'm doing okay. Congratulations on surviving upfront week. How tired are you at this moment?

Yeah, well, I've been a day ahead all week, so that's how my brain is. In my mind right now, it's Friday.

I was going to say that, so that's a positive. So, like, you're ready for the weekend?

No, I still have another day after. Then I got nothing.

How does it compare to the level of exhaustion that you would typically face as we reach the end of Upfront's week?

It's significantly less, I think, because honestly the focus is on everything but broadcast, and there's not as many announcements.

There's still a lot of things that haven't been renewed or canceled yet.

A lot of pilots that are still in contention, which we'll get to later in the episode.

And then on top of that all, yeah, this is week three of the writer's strike.

So we have lots to cover.

But before we get down to business, a correction.

In the original version of last week's podcast, we reference and our creator Tony Gilroy,

ceasing producing duties after being called a scab on social media.

He had previously ceased those responsibilities before being called out on social media.
