0:51.2	your heart and your home for one of the most important moments on the Christian calendar.
0:57.1	Now the history of Easter is a fascinating subject and one that I will dedicate an

1:04.2	But for now, it's important for us to reflect on what Easter is all about regardless of
1:10.3	its origins or when Christians set the date.
1:14.6	Traditionally, in the Christian calendar, Easter follows Lent, which is the period of 40
1:21.4	days, not counting Sundays before Easter, which traditionally is observed by acts of penance.
1:28.1	People will do fasting, people will give things up for Lent.
1:32.1	And I'll mention that more in our first point today.
1:36.0	And then Easter is preceded by Holy Week, which includes Monday, Thursday.
1:41.6	You have people call it Ash Wednesday.
1:44.2	You have then Good Friday and then the day of Jesus' crucifixion being that, Good Friday.
