365 days a year. I'm trying to help you get your mind aligned with God's word. So let's do it today in Proverbs chapter 12 verse

number 18 as we continue our series wise among fools. Now friends when I was a

kid there was a show on TV called Sesame Street. I wonder how many of you remember Sesame Street.

One of the little bits they did on Sesame Street to help children learn

was a little song they would sing and it would say it would go like this.

One of these things is not like the other.

One of these things is not the same. and on the screen as they're singing the song they

would have four different items just for example three of them might be very

smooth like a ball or a plate, you know, something is very smooth,

but another that's very fuzzy, very furry, like one of their little puppets or something. And so the child was being taught how to

discriminate between things, how to make distinctions. And the Book of Proverbs does that very thing quite often.

It makes contrasts one thing to another.

Today we're going to be looking at a contrast that has to do with the way people use words.
