Israeli military forces raided Gaza's Al-Shifa hospital,

including the emergency department, the surgical department, and the maternity ward.

People all over the world this Friday, November 17th, are going on strike.

They're demonstrating. They're going to shut it down in solidarity with the people of Palestine.

We need a new system. We need a new society.

We need to demand that which may have sounded impossible even a few weeks ago,

Leanne. Thank you for having me. All around the world on Friday, people are going to be in the streets.

Here in New York City, where we are in Washington, D.C., in Atlanta, in San Francisco, in L.A., all over the

Middle East, the students in occupied Palestine

have called for a day of walkout. This is going to be massive. This is going to be something

unlike anything the world has experienced, at least in the recent history. But it takes place

in the context of this horror. The Israeli government has seized the hospital.

Remember a couple of weeks ago, they were saying, oh, we didn't bomb that hospital. That was a rocket

from Islamic jihad or something like that, some nonsense. They were bombing hospitals. Now they've

seized the hospital. Patients are running for their lives. The Biden administration seems not to have a

problem with it. As a matter of fact, we're going to have a clip which will play in a little while

from the Pentagon saying, oh, no, it's fine to take over hospitals and crush hospitals

because Hamas was using it as a military operation center. We're going to talk about whether that's

true or not. But anyway,

this is the context, a war against civilians, 11,000 plus, maybe 12,000. We don't really know,
