talk about the funding that has been put towards this office, Greg.

Yeah, I mean the president created this office last fall because he saw that we can't wait for

Congress to take action and unfortunately gun violence is striking our

communities every single day. So he decided look I need a team that's going to help

me build and implement the policies and laws that we passed, but also to start thinking about new ideas, new ways and new resources.

The biggest thing that we've been implementing though is in the summer

2022 after the tragic shooting in Buffalo and New Baldi there was the first bill

passed on gun violence in 30 years the bipartisan Safer Communities. And in that bill there was 15 billion

dollars to go into different violence prevention programs. So one of it was creating the

988 crisis lifeline and suicide lifeline.
