Southern Bureau Chief was recently there. We drove out we're only about half an hour outside of the city of Tucson, to this extraordinarily

arid part of the desert.

We hopped over some barbed wire fencing.

Very, very quickly you begin to realize just how inhospitable this landscape is.

We've walked about 300 yards and already doing 60 miles feels unfathomable to me. You just
