A gunman opened fire Tuesday, wounding 29 and turning a rush hour into a violent nightmare

for scores of Brooklyn Strap hangers.

At least five people were shot and multiple injured in an attack that took place at a

busy subway station this morning in Brooklyn, New York.

The shooting happened at the 36th Street station at the height of rush hour.

Authorities are looking for a suspect who was seen with a gas mask at an orange construction

vest right now.

There is a massive police response on the scene as they search for the shooter.

It's a situation developing rapidly with new information pouring in.

The attack unfolded on a Manhattan-bound end train arriving at a sunset park subway station

around 8.30 a.m.

Authorities said the suspect put on a gas mask and threw two smoke grenades before firing

33 times with a Glock 17.
