Welcome back, members of the House who return to the Capitol today after the longest shutdown in U.S. history. Let's get in the mix. Here are your Washington headlines of the day. Number one, what to watch in the House as the longest shutdown in U.S. history comes to a close.

Number two, House Moderates Obamacare moment.

And number three, the latest in redistricting.

It is a big day in your favorite chamber.

The House of Representatives, as Speaker Mike Johnson calls them back in and to what we are expecting to be a vote that

passes to reopen the government. But it has been a long time since rank and file house

members have been in the District of Columbia. And there has not actually been a whip count here

in terms of where all of the Republicans are, where some of the Democrats are,

even though Democratic leadership are whipping against this vote.

Yeah, well, the House Republican leadership is whipping.

And so far, I mean, they're whipping from afar because the House is not back yet.

This is going to be the first time that they voted since September 9th.

I was looking at like what has happened since September 19th.
