Yeah, it is great to be with you. I love my porch friends, especially in the summer.

Hello friends that are watching online. We are in the middle of the series or maybe

towards the end of the series called the Remnant. And we've been talking about things that are

true. My name is Todd, by the way, I'm one of the guys that hangs out here at Watermarker

and we're glad you're with us. But this series is the Remnant. We've been talking about

what is left. The Remnant is a word that comes from a French word, from the 1500s, that

just basically means the remainder, right? It's just exactly what it says, the Remnant

Ward is the word. And it means kind of what was left of a curtain when you cut a curtain

out of a big piece of cloth. What was left, the French said, is this is the remaining

piece, the little remnant. It means what is left over, what remains is how it came into

English. And so we've been talking about what should remain and what should be true of

those who are going to be faithful to the end. We've been having a blast talking about

the marks of the Remnant. Tonight I'm going to give you four things, very simple. And

then it's this, simply this, the Remnant sees what others do not see. And the Remnant

shines when others are not shining. And the Remnant speaks when others will not speak. And

the Remnant stands when others cannot stand. And look, when we started to do this series

and put it together, I was just like, man, I can't wait to have a moment to grab my

friends and talk to them because what our country needs now is a Remnant. We need some individuals

that are standing strong as the whole world drifts away from understanding an orthodoxy

when we start to call good evil and evil good. We need a Remnant people that are courageous

and people that are strong and people of conviction. Otherwise we're going to be a whole world
