0:23.5	maybe towards the end of a series called the remnant. And we've been talking about
0:27.2	things that are true. My name is Todd by the way. I'm one of the guys that hangs out
0:30.5	here at Watermark and we're glad you're with us. But this series is a remnant.
0:33.9	We've been talking about what is left.
0:35.5	The remnant is a word that comes from a French word
0:39.8	from the 1500s that just basically means the remainder all right it's just exactly what it says the
0:45.2	reminois is the word and it means kind of what was left of a curtain when you cut a curtain out of a
0:51.5	big piece of cloth.
0:53.0	What was left, the French said is,
0:54.8	this is the remaining piece, the little remnant.
0:59.2	It means what is left over.
1:01.1	What remains is how it came into English. And so we've been talking about
1:05.8	what should remain and what should be true of those who are going to be faithful
1:10.5	to the end. We've been having a blast talking about the marks of the remnant.
1:14.1	Tonight I'm going to give you four things, very simple. And then is this, simply this.
1:17.9	The remnant sees what others do not see. And the remnant shines when others are not shining. And the
1:27.9	remnant speaks when others will not speak. the remnant stands when others cannot stand.
1:37.0	But look I when we started to do this series and put it together I was just like man I can't
