nobody was killed. Things could have been much worse. The security was horrible. I'll get into that

in a minute. And, you know, I knew so many of the people there have been to a number of these

dinners, basically for the purpose of, you know, getting a chance to talk to

officials or you don't normally have access to. And in an instant, the 2000 journalists there

went from covering this thing, or actually sort of eating their salad salad course to being not only eyewitnesses

but potential victims of this crazed gunman and chief among them was my daughter judy kurtz

in the no columnist for the hill who like just about everybody else there dived under the table and because

she was sitting in the back of the room she along with many others were just a few feet from the

gunmen who'm not going to name um and everybody's life was in danger.
