If you didn't believe it before, the federal government's response -- or lack thereof! -- to the damage in North Carolina from Hurricane Helene should convince you. Michele Woodhouse is the Republican County Chair for the 11th district of NC and has her own radio show. She lives there and is suffering through the damage. She tells you how it really is on the ground and also how the state is amending election rules for those folks afflicted by the hurricane to help the vote. But while the government is busy giving your tax dollars to people in Lebanon and Ukraine, people like Eric from Georgia are donating their own time and resources to help Americans in need. Eric calls from on the road to NC with trailers and pickups full of supplies! Americans helping Americans in time of need.
