Yes, it's Monday Motivation with Ignited.

My name is Tina Konkin. I am a storyteller. I love telling stories. I'm also a

counselor and a speaker and the founder of Relationship Lifeline. I am no stranger to pain, recovery,

and, well, relationships gone wrong. Welcome again to another Monday

motivation. It was 1992 and I had gained 80 pounds in one year. My marriage was going down the

toilet and I had been rejecting my eight-year-old child who now

was 10 for two years. My life was a mess to say the least. What was I going to do? Well, I did go

to conventional counseling and I'll never forget going to that counselor and supposedly one of the

top-rated counselors in our area and expressing to him that I was falling apart. I gained 80 pounds,

but the main thing that was really destroying my life was this rejection of my little girl.

She was 10 years old now, and for two years I had been pushing her away.

I had not been loving on her.

I had been meeting her physical needs, but no emotional connection at all.
