I think that with all of the coverage of the Nancy Guthrie disappearance and terrible story for her family,

it has a lot of people thinking about maybe we take our safety for granted.

Maybe there's more that we should be doing to sort of revisit preparation.

And I think when these things happen, everyone kind of thinks about it. And then it goes

away. I heard one expert the other day talk about, you know, people just having the syndrome of,

you know, it's not going to happen. It's unlikely. Not going to happen to you until something like this

does. And I think there are a lot more instances of kidnapping than people ever

hear about because many of them are paid off and resolved. And a lot of that's happening

through Bitcoin today, which is disturbing in and of itself. I think it's an area that a lot of

people don't feel comfortable with or understand. So I invited Ren McCackern to talk to us today and tell us a little bit

about his take on personal safety and good things for families and homes to do. He's a former FBI

supervisory agent, spent more than two decades tracking international money laundering, foreign bribery,

and some of the most sophisticated

criminal networks in the world. And he has assisted in taking down global financial crime,

helping families protect their homes, their children, their digital lives. And he really has

been on top of how the threat is changing all the time. So, Ren, thank you so much for joining
