This is on point. I'm Megyn Chakrabardi.

We shouldn't put too much weight on any one political poll in this country.

Each one is just a snapshot of the mood of American voters at one specific moment in time.

And for this reason, I tend to prefer tracking polls.

That said, one very recent poll is sending very strong,

even if confusing, signals about where American voters are right now.

The Wall Street Journal conducted this poll between July 16th to July 20th,

so just a couple of weeks ago. And Aaron Zittner, Wall Street Journal political reporter and editor,

describes the top line findings in a journal video. So first of all, what do voters think

about the Republicans' giant budget bill they just passed?

That big Republican tax bill, more people disapprove of it than support it.

They think overall that it's going to help the wealthy, help large corporations, and raise the deficit while hurting the poor.

So the Wall Street Journal poll found that 52% of voters oppose the bill, while only 42% favorite.

That's a 10-point gap.

Okay, here's another one.
