| 0:00.0 | Welcome back friends. It's time for the morning mindset and we're just going to dive |
| 0:07.2 | right in this morning because we have so much to talk about. John Chapter 14 |
| 0:12.3 | versus 25 and 26 is where we are at this morning and we have |
| 0:17.4 | just been told by Jesus along with his disciples 2,000 years ago, that after he leaves this planet, he will send the Holy Spirit. |
| 0:29.2 | And he calls him our helper with a capital H and you can't over estimate that capital H part |
| 0:36.0 | because he is the most significant helper that we are ever going to have in our lives |
| 0:41.9 | he's the one who will guide us, who will lead us, who will teach us, |
| 0:45.8 | who will do it all in a very personal way, person to person, from inside our own soul. |
| 0:54.0 | And that is an incredible thing. |
| 0:56.0 | Now let's make some clear statements here at the beginning. |
| 1:00.0 | When I say the Holy Spirit helps us from inside our own soul, I don't only mean that we will hear voices in our head or receive some sort of nudge internally that tells us, |
| 1:12.0 | I just feel like this is what I'm supposed to do, I mean |
| 1:16.0 | primarily that he is going to guide us through the truth of the word of God. Now why would I say that? Well because the |
| 1:25.3 | scripture itself says all scripture is God breathed and is profitable for |
| 1:31.7 | reproof for correction for training in righteousness. and is what |
| 1:34.0 | right-proof for correction for training in righteousness so that the man or woman of God |
| 1:37.0 | may be thoroughly equipped for every good work. |
| 1:40.0 | You see, God has made it clear that his word is what primarily equips us with his truth. |
| 1:47.6 | And that phrase God breathed uses some of the same Greek words that are behind the word spirit, meaning holy spirit. |
| 1:56.7 | And so there's a connection there. |
| 1:58.0 | The Holy Spirit is the author. |
| 2:01.0 | Scripture also says, holy men moved by God spoke as the Spirit gave utterance, you see. |
