There's a lot of TV, and that's pretty much all that's happening.

Well, I mean,

as the listeners know, there's also baseball season and whatnot, but, uh, but for, for the most

playoff basketball and playoff hockey and it's fine. So there's other, well, but those, you know

where I watch those things, Leslie? I watch those things on my TV, but also definitely want to wish our Earthling listeners

a happy Earth Day. So, so yes, and of course, happy 422, those who observe, even if it's a little

bit afterwards. Fair, fair. Well, let's get right into things. As usual, we lead off with the week's top headlines.

Number one. Up first, Stranger Things Creators, the Duffer Brothers, will executive produce The Burroughs, or Burroughs, a supernatural drama series that is from the creators of Netflix's very good and sadly prematurely canceled, The Dark Crystal Age of Resistance.

Do we know what it's about?

The little summary I saw made it seem a little bit like either cocoon or batteries not included.

It really just sounds like stranger things, but with older people.

Well, but I mean, what is what is cocoon or, uh, or batteries not included, if not,

stranger things with the old people?

So.

Yeah.

Elsewhere over at Paramount Plus, the long gestating Star Trek Discovery spinoff section 31 is moving forward, but the Michelle Yo-led project will no longer be a series, but rather a made-for-streaming movie.

As sources say, this is the beginning of phase two of Alex Kurtzman's Star Trek franchise on Paramount Plus.
