Summary
Romans 1:21-22 - For although they knew God, they did not honor him as God or give thanks to him, but they became futile in their thinking, and their foolish hearts were darkened. 22 Claiming to be wise, they became fools, 23 and exchanged the glory of the immortal God for images resembling mortal man and birds and animals and creeping things.

| 0:08.0 | You see I've called this podcast the Morning Mindset because it's my belief that every day we need to start out |
| 0:15.8 | by getting our mindset right. We need to begin thinking for the day along the line of how God thinks and that's what we've been |
| 0:24.4 | doing in Romans chapter one. We've been trying to get our heads around the |
| 0:30.7 | concepts, the actions, the things that took place way back at the beginning of creation |
| 0:38.6 | that have set us on the course that we are on right now. This course that's filled with violence and |
| 0:43.8 | disunity. This course that's filled with pandemics and with world events and |
| 0:49.4 | catastrophes that are going on. How did we get here? |
| 0:53.0 | Well, Romans chapter one tells us how we got here. |
| 0:57.0 | And Paul has just told us in verses 19 and 20 |
| 1:01.0 | of the book of Romans chapter one that it begins with mankind rejecting the |
| 1:08.4 | God of creation who is obvious if we will just pause and take the time to look at it. |
| 1:15.2 | We're going to reread what we covered yesterday in verses 2019 and 20 and then go on into |
| 1:21.8 | 21 and 22 to see the ramifications of what he describes. |
| 1:26.0 | Paul says what can be known about God is plain to mankind because God has shown it to them. |
| 1:34.0 | For his invisible attributes, namely his eternal power and divine nature, |
| 1:40.0 | have been clearly perceived ever since the creation of the world in the things that have been made. |
