Hello and welcome to the MMQB Monday morning NFL podcast the very very

special Super Bowl Edition I am Gary Gramling and because we have such a special

addition here I am once again joined by the specialist of guests and that is

Andy Benoit. Andy Super Bowl 54 that was uh that was tense.

Yeah, it was.

It had a great rhythm.

The game just felt like it was moving the entire time.

That was a fun one from start to finish.

And I like it when teams come out in the Super Bowl and both play

their brand of football to I think what was relatively close to the best of their abilities.

I'm sure both sides and especially San Francisco will look at this and find a dozen things

they could have done differently, but that looked like a 49ers team versus chief team.

That was about what you would expect and we didn't know what the outcome would be coming in.

Yeah I uh look I thought both quarterbacks were a little bit shaky but other than that

uh I thought both sides played really well and yeah it was as an editor of an NFL site

I was a little bit frustrated that you know we had lead changes in the fourth quarter

sort of ruins my plans but it was certainly exciting and it was tense.

And we'll start with the MVP. We'll start with Patrick Mahomes. And as the fourth quarter

began, it was, you know, I thought the narrative was going to be like boy

my homes real shaky first Super Bowl here probably be back but this was a this was a

forgettable one and I'm eager to see especially in the first three quarters, what the all-22 looks like on this, because Kansas City and Troy Aikman was harping on this as the game progressed.

They were not working the ball downfield, which is a little bit unusual when you are facing a defense where you know what the defense will be in.
