We're living through a time when race has been over-emphasized in society.

As history has shown us, this usually doesn't end well for civilization.

Ironically, the safeguards that have been constructed to prevent racism, things like critical

race theory and racial sensitivity training seem to be creating more racism, not less.

White people and black people from the youngest years in academia to the workforce are being

told that white supremacy has roots, and not only the founding of America, but every aspect

of our lives and institution.

But is this really true?

No matter what our race is, should everything we do be viewed through a lens of race and

racism?

This is a conversation I've been wanting to have for a while, and I thought that black

history month was the perfect time to have it.

Because no matter your background, black, white, Hispanic, Asian, Indigenous, the idea

that we're living in a society that is rigged against people of color is imperative to look

into, because if it's true, it needs to be corrected right away.

But if it's not true, we need to discover who's pushing these lies, and more importantly,

why.

Today is a speech-language pathologist, writer, Christian, father, husband, and launched

his podcast in 2020 called Informed Descent, where he pushes back on dogmatic group thing

for black Americans and advocates for a post-racial society.
