Tilo is the former CEO of Porsche Digital and former head of automotive at Gartner.

Today he holds board seats at a number of companies, including Arb, a 4D imaging radar company and data profit which

focuses on machine learning.

Hi Tila, thanks for joining me on Shift.

Great to be a, hi Hannah.

So walk me through the sort of then versus now in your career back in the

late 90s through 2016 at Gartner you were looking at mobility. At that point mobility, you know, was just sort of beginning. It probably meant something different than it means today.

How has the landscape changed over the past few decades?

Very interesting question that changed quite a bit as you correctly already said in your intro here. So yeah, my focus has always been my passion has always been on automobiles and what the future of the car will look like and what it means to transportation, what it means to mobility,

what it means to people and businesses and ultimately the industry.

And to me, what we're seeing right now is something that has been long in the making, and we're still not at the end of that

journey as a matter of fact I think we'll see over the next seven to ten years some

really interesting changes happening and I'm sure we'll touch on those as well

so when I looked at this early on in my changes happening and I'm sure we'll touch on those as well.
