How the left is ruining sports with politics.

I was just talking prior to having you on about Nike making Colin Capranick a poster boy and people people don't realize the guy wore police pictured as pigs on his socks during a football game.

Is this something that this would be something that you describe in your book I assume?

Yes certainly it was actually during practice, but I know, I know that. Yes. They have to wear a specific team issued socks, but yeah, he wore socks depicting police officers as pigs to San Francisco 49er practice

and even worse than that I think in the wake of his protest he tweeted that police were modern day slave catchers

uh... which is uh... i mean just i think beyond inflammatory

and so the idea that n would reward him not for his

athletic excellence but for 100% his politics to me represents everything

that is wrong with with the intersection of

sports and politics in our modern culture. Do you remember the the sports writers

hysteria over the Washington Redskins name? Yeah and then they had the report that came out that determined that something like 90% of Americans did not care at all about the name

of the Washington Redskins.
