Mike Johnson has a problem.

Republicans' slim majority in the House means that if the House Speaker wants to pass anything,

he'll likely need Democrats to do it.

But when Johnson does work with Democrats, his own right wing flies into a rage and threatens

his job.

For example, Johnson allowed the vote to proceed to fund Ukraine's war against Russia.

The measure easily passed the House and the Senate, and President Biden signed it into law.

But in retaliation, a furious Marjorie Taylor Green threatened to file a motion to vacate Mike Johnson's speakership.

That's the story this week. And it's been pretty much the story every other week since Johnson took over the job that Kevin McCarthy was booted from.
