weekend to all American listeners of the program. And I hope that if you're listening

of your Thanksgiving traditions have reached the rest of the world. Perhaps the worst of

them being Black Friday. That sees a lot of retailers obviously try to make as much as

they can out of the pre-Christmas shopping frenzy. And there's even a cyber Monday

I hear. But have you heard, I wonder, of Giving Tuesday? It's the global day of giving

established to support charities as an antidote to the mass consumerism of Black Friday and

cyber Monday. And if you're listening in time, it's coming up this Tuesday, the 27th
