pastors calling their ministries legacies?

It just seems kind of like blasphemy to me.

It hits me hard in like a wrong note just to hear it.

Yeah. So pastors or ministry leaders who are referring to their own ministry as a legacy, you know,

the legacy that I'm going to leave, the name that I'm going to leave here on this place,

that also hits me the wrong way too, brother.

And so I sympathize with your concern.

The one thing we want to leave with people as pastors is the gospel.

That's the legacy.

That's what we're clinging to, guarding, and handing down to the people that God is entrusted to our care.
