Oh, greetings from Portland, Oregon, where you know we can barely see

maybe 300 yards. It's astonishing. The Air Quality Index, this is from the Environmental Protection Agency, the EPA's Air Quality

Index says that Healthy Air has 0 to 50.

I believe it's particles per cubic foot of air, particles that are less than 2.5

microns in size, these are microscopic. They're so small that when they get

into your lungs, they don't just hang out there like cigarette smoke does.

They go right into your bloodstream and they get transported around your body and they can

get into your brain and your organs and your eyes and they cause really serious damage. They cause heart attacks.

I mean this is beyond just asthma.

They cause cardiac arrhythmias.

They can cause all kinds of problems.

So anyhow, when it's zero to 50, that's healthy.

Anything above 300, in the mid hundreds,

anything from 100 to 300 is considered dangerous.

And above 300 is considered hazardous. And if it lasts for more than 24 hours it's considered emergency

conditions. Well our air in Oregon for the last three days has been over 500 here in Portland, 500 particles per cubic

foot, which is just mind-boggling.

There's a wine grower down in Washington County who's planted his vineyard he and his wife they planted

their vineyards in 76 1976 and they have literally every single year written down when the grapes leaf every spring, when the buds come out,
