0:29.0	wherever we are, with all of its problems, with all of its difficulties, with all of its challenges,

0:42.7	but keep our eyes on the city of God, to which we belong.
0:44.6	That's really a challenge.
0:46.7	That is really a temptation.
0:49.5	Why I'm saying this?
0:59.4	Because I find it much easier to love this life with little attention to where I'm going to be spending my forever. There are very few of us who could say with the writer to the Hebrews in chapter
1:06.8	13 verse 14, for here we do not have an enduring city, but we are looking for the city
1:16.5	that is to come.
1:19.5	All of us, young or old, it doesn't matter, all of us who live in this city of man, we don't
1:27.4	think often of our eternal future. I think you don't
1:33.8	have to look or listen hard to find out that in our culture, in our day, there is so much
1:41.2	confusion about heaven and hell and eternity, eternal life, and the life after.
1:46.6	And Hollywood sold us a bill of goods by the movies and the shows that constantly tell everybody
1:53.7	that when they die, everyone goes to heaven. And it really is. And those unscrupulous people
1:59.8	who supposedly have died, and when they died,
2:02.8	they saw light, and they saw Jesus, and they write these books, and they tell that everybody's
2:08.3	going to make it to heaven. Well, beloved, that does not only contradict every single page of the Word of God,
2:16.5	but there are misleading people all the way to hell.
