What's up guys? Derek? More plates, more dates.com.

Today we're going to be talking about how SARMs can potentially be a therapeutic option for

0:09.1

hay loss prevention. So a lot of people are probably thinking, SARMs anecdotally can cause hair loss.

0:15.7

How are they going to help prevent it? So what a lot of people, first off, don't realize is that the dosages being used for

0:23.2

performance enhancement are often significantly exceeding what would be used in an anti-androgenic

0:29.1

capacity. So this is sort of not, I don't know, it depends on the SARM though and how tissue

0:34.6

selective it is. So some are far better than others. Obviously, the more tissue selective, the better. So some SARMs are really no better than certain

0:43.0

steroidal SARMs that have better tissue selectivity than testosterone, which are just things that most

0:49.3

are commonly known as testosterone. So things like trend blown,, like, you know, things that are compared

0:55.7

to testosterone normally that are anabolic steroids are also referred to in the clinical data

1:00.5

as steroidal SARMs simply because they have better tissue selectivity than testosterone.

1:05.4

But testosterone, as you should know, is not tissue selective. It sucks in terms of distinguishing between

1:12.8

anabolic activity to endogenic activity. It's like the reference steroid used for all studies

1:19.9

in terms of what is baseline for tissue selective. So anything that's more tissue selective than

1:26.1

testosterone, which is like, as you already know, converts to DHD and can be significantly endogenic via the DHD conversion as well as inherently with the parent hormone.

1:36.7

Anything better than that is like selective.

1:40.3

So there are a lot of steroidal SARMs that have been developed for decades that people use traditionally as

1:46.6

you know what they often just classify as anabolic steroids, which is fine.

1:51.8

But non-steroidal sarms, these are the ones that are commonly seen as sarms with, you know,

1:57.9

in the mainstream community nowadays, which is what we're going to be

2:01.2

addressing the non-steroidal ones. And some of those, though, the non-steroidal ones,

2:05.5

have tissue selectivity that are worse than or, you know, formidable to some of the
