And I want us as we open our Bibles to bring the right emotional tone to our reading of the Book of Hagai and the right tone for this book's impact to be felt in our hearts and lives would be the sensation you feel when you're stuck.

Can you think of a time in your life when you just felt stuck?

It's a terrible feeling. when you just felt stuck.

I remember one time in a snowstorm,

I got off the road somehow in my own neighborhood

and ended up in a little gully, in a ditch in like I could see my house but I was stuck

I was trying to get to work could not do so because now I'm stuck and I had to call a tow truck to get me out

No one was going by to pull me out and so I called the tow truck to get me out.

No one was going by to pull me out, and so I called the tow truck and they said, hey, I'm so sorry,

before we can come pull you out, we stand at operating procedure, we have to call the police.

The police has to come and clear it to make sure you're not intoxicated because apparently people end up in the ditch when they're drunk.

And so I have to sit there humiliated waiting for a police officer to come,

be like, hey, where do you live?

I'm like, right there.

Where are you going?

Church?

And you know, it's like, I could tell he was just kind of like,

all right, how intoxicated, right?

I'm like, it's 740 in the morning,

I'm not drunk at all and so he clears me and then gives the go ahead and

gives me the chance for the tow truck to pull me out. It just if I felt terrible I couldn't I couldn't move I couldn't budget I couldn't I couldn't go anywhere I was what was I I was
