Well as I said coming in the door Jeremy Peters is was one of those guys when I first met him.

Just just struck me it's just he just had a shit together he was a straight up old school journalist and in so many respects for a young guy I mean look at this guy is like it's like a baby you know.

But he's got the chops to do to do the work.

He is a correspondent for the New York Times where he's written about the last three presidential elections in his coverage has focused on how forces in media culture and certainly religion and politics are reshaping not just America but specifically America's politics.

And so he is spent some time sort of getting in the room and listening and understanding how the sausages made and that's led to his first book insurgency how Republicans lost their party and got everything they ever wanted it's out now.

I highly recommend it it is a dynamite read Jeremy welcome to the podcast baby.
