0:15.2	yeah so I essentially wanted more out of life I wanted to live live life on my terms and come and go as I
0:23.0	pleased on a daily basis if I wanted to work or if I wanted to invest or I just wanted to take off to
0:28.5	the Caribbean for two weeks. I wanted that freedom. And I had a job with the police department. I was a
0:34.2	police officer for 21 years. Long story short, I decided my plan was I'll free up
0:42.0	the equity in my home through the means of a home equity line of credit and use that money
0:47.8	to start buying rental properties to ultimately, ultimately live life on my terms because I knew and I felt and I knew through
0:58.6	so many people that I had spoken to in the research that I did, real estate investing could
1:05.2	give me that financial freedom, could give me that freedom living life on my terms.
1:10.5	So that's basically in a nutshell.
1:12.5	21 years as a police officer, the light bulb went off pretty much towards the end of my career
1:17.6	and start building generational wealth and wealth by using that engine. But it all started with a
1:25.5	home equity line of credit. We didn't have any money in the bank,
1:28.6	but we did have equity in our home. Wow, what a great story. On the podcast today, Adrian is going to
