ROMANS 1:26-27 - For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; 27 and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error.

0:12.1	This is our opportunity to get our minds aligned with
0:15.1	the truth of God's word and that is what it is. We are looking at God's word today
0:20.5	in the book of Romans chapter 1 versus 26 through 27 so get out your
0:25.2	Bibles if you have a morning mindset journal get that out we're going to be digging
0:29.4	into a very controversial issue in our day because But God's word is very clear. We're going to read it, we're going to seek to understand it. And before we get into it, let's ask Him to help us understand.
0:41.7	Lord God, we are asking you to give us your insight into this issue.
0:47.4	We want to know how mankind's tendency to reject you can impact our sexuality.
0:54.0	We're asking you to give us insight that comes from your word.
0:58.0	You say that your word is living and active and sharper than any double-edged sword.
1:04.0	We ask you to use it to penetrate us, Lord, as we hear,
1:08.0	that we will hear your truth
1:10.0	and align our minds with it.
1:12.0	In Jesus' name, Amen.
1:13.4	Okay, friends, Romans chapter 1,
1:16.7	versus 26 and 27. Now in the context, the apostle poll
1:21.1	has been talking about people who have preferred their own way of
1:26.2	thinking and living to God's revealed way that human beings are to think and to live.
1:32.3	Okay, so do you see that comparison?
1:35.0	God gives us a way to live and to think as human beings, being our designer and our
1:40.4	Creator, the one who knows what life on planet Earth is really all about and how to live it well.
1:46.0	And then we as human beings make our own choice to reject his way.
