Taxes. We're told that the price you pay for civilization, unless of course you live in certain

blue states, in which case they're actually the price you pay for the homeless encampments sitting

outside of your child's poorly run government school. Today, we're going to be talking a little bit

about a trip I took. I actually had an opportunity to talk with Art Laffer, who is a supply side

economist, very influential during the Reagan administration,

and since then, developed the Laffer curve. And what we're going to do is we're going to talk

a little bit about taxes. Everyone's favorite subject. And are they theft? How much taxes

do you really need? What do they really provide for? What's the best way to collect them?

We're going to go over all of that and just a little bit more on this episode of making the argument.
