Well, hello, beautiful butterfly. Welcome to this week's Flying Higher moment. A couple of weeks ago, I taught a class to the incredible women inside our Flying Higher mentorship community. The heart of this workshop was all about how the way we interpret our circumstances or our beliefs about what's happening to us

0:24.6

can radically transform our emotional experience and ultimately our lives. Okay. So the way we think,

0:32.8

you know, these things happen to us, right, in our lives, but it's the way we think about them that creates

1:54.9

And those beliefs had become her reality.

1:57.9

Right there, sitting at her kitchen table, Lauren remembered a phrase she had heard in my program.

2:04.6

Radical acceptance. She began using the C-L-E-A-R model I teach to question those painful thoughts, and something profoundly shifted.

2:15.6

Lauren chose a new perspective.

2:19.3

She realized she wasn't powerless.

2:22.6

She was simply stuck in resisting her reality,

2:25.8

fighting against it and spending all of her emotional energy

2:29.5

on wanting it to be different,
