But he's walking up and down the front between the altar and the first pew, and then he looks at us and he goes, don't you know that prayer moves the hand of God?

It goes back a ways, but I doubt you've heard this. I had not heard it. And I thought, well,

this is perfect for us and the lesson, one of the lessons of today's podcast episode. This goes back to

1990 through 1993. There was a pastor down in Texas by the name of Dwayne Miller. So he's a preacher in 1990. Everything's going great in his church. But then he gets this virus that attacks his larynx, his vocal cords. And it takes his voice from sounding like me to sounding like this. I mean, just boom, his voice was gone, and it didn't come back.

I mean, and he saw over 200 doctors trying to find an answer to, can I get my voice back?

It didn't come back.

And it was kind of one of those, it is what it is kind of things.

But this is a preacher.

This is a guy who's had a calling.

This is his way of life. And now... And then in verse four, he says, and he redeems my life from the pit.

And he's realizing, I can't, I can't do this. I can't do this. I can't do this to my congregation.

So he left the church. He left that church saying, I'm sorry, but you need somebody who can do
