As the George Floyd protests enter their third week, some of the protesters have been calling to defund the police.

On Sunday, the Minneapolis City Council announced they would begin the process of dismantling their police force.

President Donald Trump has emphasized that he supports peaceful protests,

but criticized the notion of defunding the police,

highlighting the importance of law enforcement in upholding law and order.

Presumptive Democratic nominee Joe Biden has stated that,

while he shares the deep grief and frustration of the protesters, he does not

believe police department should be defunded. Our socially distant panel is anxiously waiting

to discuss. But first, Fox News correspondent Peter Deucy gives us an update from the digital campaign

trail. On Monday, Joe Biden met with George Floyd's family in Houston and broke with activists in his party.

A campaign spokesman now says,

Vice President Biden does not believe that police should be defunded.

But the Trump campaign is calling for more than a statement from a staffer.
