Really cool guests this week.

And actually we haven't had a guest in a while so I'm really excited in general

Adam Mosley is the research and new product developer at Pleasant View Gardens which is the

home of a company that you guys probably know pretty well, proven winners.

So in this week we're going to be talking a lot about plant breeding, selecting for specific

traits and qualities.

We're also going to look at some of the interesting plants that they're doing this year,

which I actually have one of in my garden.

I have a mazel-basel in my garden right now and I'm really enjoying growing it.

Yeah, that's awesome.

And I mean, I learned a cursory bit of knowledge

about plant breeding last year

when I did the California Vegetable Trial Tours and I kind of went up the

California coast and learned quite a bit about all the different generations and how they select and all that.

But I thought for everyone listening, it is a fascinating process and it kind of helps the home

gardener think a little bit more gardeny I guess you could say about how they grow and so could we give like the elementary level
