If the Pittsburgh Steelers' defense returns to being a top 10 unit, how do they get there? New defensive coordinator Teryl Austin spoke Wednesday about the unit's philosophies. Spoiler alert, they're very much the same as before. But there are elements to the defense that can better benefit the team if they're more aggressive, which is something Austin and Brian Flores are working hard to make happen for Mike Tomlin. Also, Flores and Austin both discussed how Devin Bush has looked in minicamp so far, and they had good things to say. Finally, a way for the Steelers' defense to return to being top 10 actually involves something they can't control: complementary football. The Steelers' offense being better on 3rd downs and having longer drives will also allow the team's defense to play to its strengths even more.
