aside from Donald Trump who is most important for understanding the trajectory of Republican politics today, it might just

might be the tech investor Peter Teal.

Teal is not as famous or as rich as Elon Musk, he's not as notorious, is Steve Bannon or Richard Spencer,

but over the last 10 years he has grown from Silicon Valley's Oddball Conservative to

Republican Party Kingmaker and an ideological anchor of the

party's Trump and maybe it's post-Trump eras.
