So friends, we're going to talk about perfectionism today, all the different many ways it shows up in our studio and throughout our practice.

There are really obvious ways that perfectionism shows up.

You know, a lot of times I think we have the idea that perfectionism shows up

in our artwork in the sense that we've got to get like everything rendered perfectly. And

and I think sometimes the idea might be it's either got to be almost like, I don't think we,

we are consciously saying this to ourselves, but I think like there's

this idea like that it has to be like a photograph in a way, even though we know we don't want

our work to be like a photograph or it's got to be like Rembrandt or, you know, like there's some

idea that we have in our head that is what perfection is. And the only thing that we really

know about our individual ideas about perfection is that whatever we're doing is not it.

Like we typically do not have an idea about it in the sense of like, oh, I can tell you when I have reached perfection.
